In 2010 Kathryn's song Sending Out a Prayer received an "Honorable Mention" placement in the Song of the Year Contest supporting VH1's Save the Music and in 2011 Kathryn received yet another award!

Kathryn's song, My Sweet Life was awarded

Semi-Finalist placement in this international songwriting  competition. This honor is only awarded to those songs which earn extremely high scores and are found to be competitive with the winning songs. Only the top writers receive this placement.

This was Kathryn's 10th award in the contest.
